Dancer
Hello, I am Céline Butté, the founder of Heart of Movement. HoM is the home through which I provide psychotherapy, supervision and CPD events informed by years of somatic movement practice and a deep understanding of trauma.
A qualified dance movement psychotherapist, supervisor, teacher and dancer with over 25 years experience, dance and movement practice are at the core of my work and life and form the ground on which my career stands.
I qualified as a dance movement psychotherapist with the University of Roehampton in 2002 and as a supervisor with the London Centre for Psychodrama in 2012.
My approach is integrative and transpersonal, rooted in somatic principles and psychodynamic theory.
My experience includes working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and learning disabled adults in community and acute NHS settings, with refugees and asylum seekers, parents and young children, and with children from different background.
I currently hold a private practice based in South London and work internationally across various settings, in clinics, studios, outdoors and remotely.

An opportunity to explore in a creative and safe environment. Celine held the space well. As a non-specialist in movement I felt free to work in my own way.
